This can be minimal support of four hours a day to go shopping and do some housework to a full 24 hour support package at home. Greenleaf provides support to all age groups from the elderly to children and according to service users’ individual needs, enabling them to live the best possible life they choose.
Greenleaf provide experienced enablers to work alongside service users who have learning disabilities, mental health problems, acquired brain injuries, physical disabilities and to people in many other circumstances. We provide tailor made care and enabling services. We directly employ, supervise and closely manage all of our support workers, recruiting specifically for each individual.
Often local respite facilities are over booked, we can support individuals to stay in their own home where they can retain all their preferred routines, while their usual carer takes a break. Service user’s who have regular respite care can have the same support team each time providing continuity, ensuring that the service users can build up a relationship and rapport with their carers who will be familiar with all routines.
Greenleaf can support people when they go on holiday whether alone, as part of a couple, or larger group. We carefully match our support workers with the requirements of the service user and ensure their participation during the process.
Greenleaf also operates as an agency we have support workers available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This enables us to provide a prompt and flexible service. Although we will support all service users to choose their own staff, having a bank of staff available can enable us to provide a service that can be adapted at short notice if the needs of the service users or their usual carer changes.
Greenleaf operates 24 hours a day 365 days a year. Our carers and enablers are always able to get in touch with us if they need help or advice. Out of office hours, our on-call operatives will attempt to resolve any issues and arrange emergency cover if required. They have access at all times to Senior Managers for advice and support.
Person centred and tailor made care that is responsive and expertly delivered
The staff will be recruited based on your needs, always taking into consideration their experience, their training as well as other nuances such as personality, age etc. that become apparent during a comprehensive assessment
Greenleaf has it’s own training department which allows the development of specific training programmes which are led and developed in line with the needs of those individuals we provide to. Greenleaf believes that there is not a standard route to effective care and support, it needs creativity, effective tools of communication, professionalism and passion to become truly person centred.
